Iracema Soapstone Earrings
Project TrêsWe love sustainable jewelry! Our Iracema collection is designed in partnership with Estudio Iracema in Brazil. Mariana Gouveia, the jewelry designer behind the brand, uses parts of soapstone bowls from Kenya to make these delicate earrings. Sometimes our soapstone bowls break on their trip from Kenya. We love turning broken pieces into beautiful things because it resonates a lot with the stories of Project Três women. Most of the time, when they come to us, they feel "broken" as well. And our job is to teach them skills, help them find more perspective and dream again.
